Most couples I work with usually say a similar thing – “We’re not very comfortable in from of the camera” and this is why my approach works.
I spend most of the day quietly documenting real moments as they naturally unfold. The laughter, the atmosphere, the moments in-between which you didn’t even realise were happening. Nothing forced and nothing over-posed – simply your day as it actually felt.
Then, when the light starts to face or the energy moves to the evening, I step in and create a handful of beautifully lit portraits. The kind which feel relaxed and natural but look striking, dramatic and completely unforgettable.
This means that you can relax and be present with your favourite people, and trust that everything is being captured exactly as it should be.
